Chief of Finance, MSA

Larissa Patros is our firm’s Chief of Finance. Ms. Patros oversees all of our firm’s financial transactions, economic strategy, capital structure, internal auditing, and accounts receivables. Ms. Patros brings her extensive background in both accounting and corporate finance from her previous work in the financial industry. Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Patros worked for large financial institutions such as Bank of America and also interned at various accounting and legal firms. It is through Ms. Patros’ devoted efforts at RJS LAW where she has directly implemented process improvements on bookkeeping procedures and has formalized and executed an organized accounting strategy in preparing all of the firm’s financials. She also routinely performs thorough financial analysis projects and has established business relationships with various financial institutions to increase the firm’s business development. Ms. Patros is an honored member of the executive team with direct oversight over all of the financial and accounting matters and reports directly to the firm’s CEO and presents the firm’s financial plans, the development of relevant business information, and wealth market strategies.

Along with managing the finance department and continuing to build the financial and accounting infrastructure, Ms. Patros also assists our attorneys with client matters before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), Employment Development Department (EDD), and the State Board of Equalization (SBOE). She analyzes tax returns, personal statements, and other data to prepare client portfolios for mitigation.

Ms. Patros has obtained her graduate degree from San Diego State University, Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy, where she received a Master of Science in Accountancy with an emphasis in Taxation. Ms. Patros also attended the University of San Diego, where she received a dual Bachelors in Accounting and Finance and received USD Second Honor Roll. Ms. Patros was an ardent participant in several extracurricular activities where she proudly served as Secretary of the Chaldean American Student Association (CASA) and was an active member of the USD Accounting Society.

In addition to her duties at the firm, Ms. Patros is also currently pursuing her Enrolled Agent credential and her Certified Public Accountant license.

Ms. Patros currently resides in Rancho San Diego with her husband Bryan.
